A team of surveyors from the County and National Government convened a public baraza meeting to deliberate on the adjudication of the Pumwani Phase 3 Settlement Scheme in Magarini ward. The Pumwani Scheme, spanning 7,000 acres, is government-owned land encompassing the territories of Vihingoni, Madzayani, Kotayo, Sajeni, Songerako, and Pokea Mwana village.
During this community gathering, the team delivered valuable insights on land-related issues, underscoring the significance of possessing official ownership documents for security purposes. Furthermore, the residents established a committee tasked with accurately delineating land boundaries.
Our department remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring that every Kilifi resident acquires a title deed. This endeavor aims to empower citizens, foster socio-economic development, and promote sustainable land management practices within the county.
In attendance were the area MCA, Honorable Paul Mwacharo, DCC Peter Thiongo, ACC Joshua Lentoi, OCS Benard Kachatta, and other local administrators.
