Cookstoves and Tree Planting

Company
In a coordinated effort to promote clean energy practices and environmental sustainability, a team led by C.E.CM Hon. Jane Kamto has distributed clean cookstoves to Katana Ngala Secondary School. These energy-efficient stoves have been designed to reduce indoor air pollution and minimize fuel consumption.
Through the adoption of clean cooking practices, the stoves will enhance the health and well-being of students and staff while also contributing to a more environmentally friendly setting.
In addition, the team also participated in the planting of 500 indigenous trees in Bore-Shungwaya in Magarini Sub-County. These trees will play a crucial role in combating climate change, enhancing air quality, and preserving local biodiversity.
By embracing clean energy initiatives and tree planting activities, Kilifi County is taking a significant stride towards a greener and healthier future.
