A team of surveyors held a meeting in Kadzuyuni part of Marereni Location in Adu Ward, to form a community committee that will handle land dispute resolution in the area. The survey works in the region range from demarcating and identifying public utilities such as hospitals, schools, markets, trading centers, roads, and religious institutions.
These efforts aim to clearly define the boundaries of public amenities for residents and educate them about their own land boundaries. The contractor in charge of the project has committed to beginning work as soon as all land disputes are settled.
This project supports Governor Gideon Mung’aro’s plan to address the issue of squatters in Kilifi County and ensure that all residents rightfully own their land parcels
